Hi Rob,
Thank you for a brilliant introduction to early season alpine routes in the Chamonix/Courmayeur region.
Rob was perfectly professional, insightful, patient and really knowledgeable. Everything which we set out to know plus lots of additional information was covered. He spent time explaining his decision making processes, regularly provoked us to ask questions and repeated information at will. We appreciated his both expertise and his sense of humour. Further to this Rob spent time assessing our skills (be they limited in crampons) and advising us of other possible routes for us to engage with in our own time.
Rob we are very pleased to have had such a dynamic guide over the last three days and would highly recommend you.
Very best wishes and safe travels for the forthcoming seasons.

Hey Rob, sorry a bit late on the reply, but definitely backing up what Sam said, which is that we had an amazing intro into Alpinism. Thanks for making it fun, and thrilling while being patient with us at the same time. I personally really appreciated the day on the glacier learning safety skills just as much as doing the Cosmiques Arete, although the spicy finish (not the climbing) to the Cosmiques will be something to remember for a while. Quite the classic route especially considering we picked up Catherine Destivelle's gear and axe, although only now do I realize that was one of the real highlights! How cool.

As promised I have posted some of the better pictures:

Hope you are enjoying a great start to the summer season and time permitting we will see you again next year!

Thanks again,
