Guided Winter Mountaineering

Classic guided winter mountaineering, high on one of the 5 great ridges of Ben Nevis

This course is designed for folk with existing experience of using ice axe and crampons, a good level of fitness, a head for heights and the desire to take their winter mountaineering on to a more technical level. With a maximum group size of 3 we are then able to tackle some of the classic winter mountaineering challenges of the Scottish Highlands. This could be a classic ridge traverse between famous summits (Like Liatach or the Forcan Ridge) or some steeper gully climbing (like Central Gully on Ben Lui or No2. Gully on Ben Nevis).

Here are a few more suggestions to inform and inspire you but please get in touch if you have some alternative specific objectives in mind.
