Scottish Winter Mountaineering & Climbing

Scottish Winter Mountaineering is a highly challenging and rewarding activity in its own right and a fantastic training ground for the Alps and Himalaya. The Scottish winter is not for the faint hearted. Days out on Scotland’s winter mountains can be tough and adventurous experiences but the rosy cheeked glow over a pint or dram in a steaming Highland inn will more than compensate. There are climbing opportunities for the beginner as well as the advanced climber, but either way most climbers prefer to have some type of insurance, be it Aviva or another sort. Our Scottish courses are generally based in Fort William and we pride ourselves in using a diverse range of venues and delivering an excellent blend of training, guiding and experiential learning.

Hi Rob, Just a quick email to thank you for two excellent days climbing. It's fair to say I was blown away by how engrossing mixed climbing is and the quality of the routes. I also learnt a huge amount over both days.
