The Mission
The Dom and the Tasch from the summit of the Alphubel
Think you're fit? You're probably not fit enough for this...but if you're up for a (BIG) Challenge read on...
Climbing the 3 highest peaks in the Alps is a very tough physical challenge, you need good weather, determination and a bit of luck....
The three highest independent peaks in the Alps are
- Mont Blanc (4808m)
- The Dufourspitze (At 4634m the principal summit of the Monte Rosa)
- The Dom (4545m).
This course aims to make one acclimatisation and training climb and then start the business of climbing these three physically demanding peaks. The training peak is likely to be around Zermatt, e.g. Breithorn, Castor etc and we will aim to climb the big 3 in reverse order.
We allow 13 days for the ascents and you pay for 12 Guiding days as we will take one rest day when weather and tiredness dictates.
"Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!"
