Dougal and I spent a week of perfect but very cold weather in the Argentiere Basin just before Christmas and did not see another team in the whole Cirque
Fantastic views over the pristine and deserted Argentiere Basin, Chamonix
North / East Faces of the Aiguille Verte and Les Droites just visible on the left bank of the Argentiere Glacier whilst the Argentiere Refuge is situated on the moraine of the right bank.
