Many of our clients main objective in hiring a Guide for mountaineering or skiing is to learn new skills. We specialise in providing thorough and practical training, focusing initially on the essential basics and progressing at a realistic rate to ensure you genuinely learn rather than get dazzled by rope tricks! Our training courses go beyond instructional sessions and aim to give you an insight in to the more subtle & difficult judgements that have to be made almost constantly in the mountains. Check out our training gallery and contact us to arrange some quality structured training for expeditions, alpinism and rock climbing through to alpine ski touring. Knowledge and good experiences in the mountains are hard won and the cost of hiring a Mountain Guide to provide them can be very good value.
The Mont Blanc Massif has a superb network of mountain paths giving enjoyable journeys with magnificent views. These range in length and difficulty from pleasant café & mountain hut walks on simple paths to high level mountain journeys with rough ground. There is an excellent structure of mountain refuges which can provide a focus for the walk or an overnight base camp and various options exist for using lifts to quickly access more scenic walking above the tree line.
